Friendship

Filed under: Uncategorized — happyscribblers @ 5:00 am

May our friendship last forever..may I sail upon your sea..May we go through life together..may there always be a “we”.

May I be your endless sky..may you breathe my gentle air..May you never wonder why..each time you look for me,I’m there.

May we be for each a smile..like the warm,life-giving sun..Yet when we’rein pain a while..may our suffering be one.

May we shareour special days..the happiness of one for two..And ifwe must go separate ways..let my love remain with you.

For all that you have given me,I can return but love.

For you bound up the wounds,I did not see.

And gave me hopes and passions new.

Mum,happy mother’s day.

Idea of Mother’s Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — happyscribblers @ 11:46 am

Im not into the concept of Mother’s Day.All these years, there no such things as Mother’s Day or Father’s Day in my life.I only had Children’s Day before.

That are the days where those greeting cards companies start to generate sales during that time of the year.Strategy of Business starts to flood on that season.

I feel that in order to show true love and appreciation for someone, it should be shown everyday.Seriously, you don’t need to wait yearly just to do something special for your Mum or Dad.

plan 2: buy her lots of bearbear or toytoy to entertain her or make it’s cuteness unforgetable.

plan 3:next sing the song for her http://youtube.com/watch?v=auqwlG889JU

I love you baby
And if it’s quite all right
I need you baby
To warm my lonely night I love you baby
Trust in me when I say
Oh, pretty baby
Don’t bring me down I pray oh, pretty baby
Now that I found you, stay and let me love you
Baby let me love you…

this should shock her abit .

now i do’t want to waste the space of me writing too much , so ta-ta

Destiny

Filed under: Life — happyscribblers @ 3:58 pm

The above pictures are part of my lessons on a Sunday class recently. We were given the pictures and some were exactly the same as the above and we were told to rearrange them accordingly. And so we did. But originally, my team had arranged the grandma and the elderly people in the opposite way and i think we’re confused because we don’t really know how to define “elderly poeple”. And so, i went on to search for the definition of “elderly people” and this is the result :

Most developed world countries have accepted the chronological age of 65 years as a definition of ‘elderly’ or older person, but like many westernized concepts, this does not adapt well to the situation in Africa. While this definition is somewhat arbitrary, it is many times associated with the age at which one can begin to receive pension benefits. At the moment, there is no United Nations standard numerical criterion, but the UN agreed cutoff is 60+ years to refer to the older population. (For the full article click here http://www.who.int/healthinfo/survey/ageingdefnolder/en/index.html)

Yup and so now we know that we have to become a grandma first before we become part of the “elderly people” unless you got married late or you were given children at a later stage.

Yeah, actually i wanted to blog about how time seems to be so short for us. Nowadays i felt like i don’t have enough time to do everything that im supposed to do. I felt like my sister is growing too fast. I saw lots more of gray hairs on my mom’s head. My dad does not stay home much but he does come back(some people just hates to stay at home when they gets older and older…especially man!), I’m beginning to do good things which i’ve never done before, i’ve learned that the Earth is getting much more sicker as i typed away with the lights on, I’m appreciating mother nature more and more and im teaching my sister to throw the papers in the recycle bin. Sometimes i wonder, has the maturity inside me been release? Or am i still that helpless, useless girl that i used to be?

Or is this the first phase of being inside the age range of twenties?……

For now, all i know is that as long as the hope and faith within me stays, i will never get lost and i will reach my destiny one day.

Mothers’ Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — happyscribblers @ 4:58 pm

Mothers’ Day was a sad day because my mum was sick. She was down with headache.

I did not have a good time with my mum. :( But we always enjoy going out on weekends.

She has been a great mum. She will always be there for me when I’m in need,

When you are busy in school, She will sms and ask me “HAVE YOU EATEN”or ask me others things?

Mum are always very loving,

caring, helpful. I will always appreciate it.

I love my mum.

On Saturday, 10 May, Nisa and i along with two other classmates attended The National Youth Environment Forum at Riverwalk.

The objectives of the forum was to create awareness on the environment and more involvement form the youth of our country on issues of the environment in and out of our country.

Well, after the forum, i did learn many things but i came to realise there are certain issues that many tend to forget.

We oversimplify the ‘climate change problem’ that we loose sight of the myraid related issues, like deforestation, dam-building , industrial development, poor management, governance and etc which contribute the change in our climate. These occur due to our ‘detached’ attitude to our Mother Earth.

Thus, we failed to appreciate what Mother Earth has given to us. We took it for granted. And now, we are contributing more efforts to preserve our precious planet before it is to late.

So bloggers, you must be pondering what’s up with the title ‘motherS’ when i am focusing on Mother Earth, only.

Well, by reading the first few paragraphs, articles on food shortage and the twin disasters that affect Asia in the newspapers, many don’t seem that all these happen because of our ignorant and ungrateful attitude towards Mother Earth. We, typical humans tend to do things last minute, when everything is done, over and cannot be saved, we left resentments in our hearts.

We have to change our habits, change our style and get our values right. All these start at home.

Firstly, appreciate our Mother.

We MUST reward them for their hard work and the love they shower to us.

My brother, my cousins and I pooled our money together and treat our mothers at Eatz-19 (restaurent) on Mother’s Day and sing karaoke at my aunty’s house. It was awesome.

So, when we appreciate our love ones, we want to spend more time together and that will come a realization ‘ i want a better place for my love ones and i need to save the world’.

Secondly, we MUST practice 3 R’s at home.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

If we are able to minimize our waste, we are able to save the world by not contributing to pollutions that lead to global warming.

I hope you bloggers agree with me too.

our strength- mothers

Filed under: Family — happyscribblers @ 11:28 am

During mothers’ day last week.i recalled something i learnt during my religious classes when i was younger. My religion had reminded their followers that the first love you should have is for God. The second would be for the Prophets. And the third was for our mother. and it went on to remind us that the fourth was too the same, the love for our mother, and then our fifth love, again, our mother.

it seemed weird at first when i learnt of that. how come the love for out mother was repeated three times. but as i grew older, i understood the reason why my God taught us to love our mother three times more than anything else.

it was simply because, they risked their life when giving life to us. they had their life on the line to give birth to us. they are usually the people that will support us in the choices we make. they are the ones that protect us in all things we set out to do. their prayers for our success means more than the prayers we have for ourselves.  they are ready to accept our apologies when we do wrong. that is why my God reminds us to love our mother more.

because they are the greatest love we can ever find.

they are our strength.

mothers, a gem in our lives.
