Juno

Have you heard any 16 years old High School student, speaking this way?
“Dealing with things way beyond my maturity level”

In this movie name Juno, which is also the character name acted by Ellen Page, portray a different kind of scene. By having an unplanned pregnancy with Bleeker[Michael Cera], to having supportive family and friend that doesn’t resort her to get any abortion though in the first place and finding any couple that is willing to adopt her baby after the baby is born.
Guess who decide all this for her? None other than Juno herself! Yes, being 16 years old able to decide for herself is the least we could find it over in reality. Though the unplanned pregnancy was just a teens curious-ness to try out.
Besides her being pregnant and having supportive people by her side, this movie shows the wittiness and humour in their speech which at times chuckled me and makes me think “Oh WOW!”.
Plus, the well done acting and good cinematography, I just love their soundtrack.

Therefore I must say this movie is such a MUST WATCH!!!
Forget it if you think this is childs play!

Am i too initiative?

Filed under: Uncategorized — happyscribblers @ 7:49 am
Am I too initiative? If I answered “yes”, but it do not really fit in, but if I answered “no”, I found that I have been QUITE initiative.

I found that, I have been trying to lend some of my books, regarding to his current level of education, to him under my own initiative. Although, he said, he will borrow them from for a later time, but I truely sensed that he does not really wants it. Upon that, I felt quite embarrassed for my action done.

Sometimes, I stuck neutrally at my own thoughts whether what I am doing is it really right for him? I only wish to help him, because he did told me that, he has a hard time catching up the syllabus, to be learnt, in school.

This afternoon, I took the initiative to request for a day in a week to conduct somehow a English study group, whereby both of us share about we learnt in school through English conversation. He replied, wait till I moved my house, then we decide. Again, this sentence tells me a lot of inner meanings.

Now, I have decided not to take any initiative to request for any lending of books or conducting any study group in future. I found myself too “extra” for those action and I felt hurt and embarrased too.
